VCF vactrol

Back to some old analog circuitry. I have few vactrol left, so I built a VCF/VCA with one of those. Very simple circuit. It uses a CD4066 switch to allow three modes of operation. VCA, VCF 1pole (simple RC filter) and VCF sallen key with resonnance control.

I added a pluck circuitry to “ping” the vactrol. Very interesting sounds comes out of it. Somekind of detuned guitar string, or wood stick. apart from the CD4066 the schematic is quite self-explanatory I think. Sorry for the crappy image, I didn’t find (yet) the proper way to output good file from Kicad. vact
