As I haven’t much to post right now I’ll post that . Here’s a project of multiswitching waveforms LFO with a display to show what waveforms is curently out.Suitable for guitar effect or synth , will depend on the application. The switching is made with the microcontroller’s outputs, switching form low to high controlling JFET switches. Think BOSS switching (and countless others) .
Curently made with Arduino but I hope I will be able to finish it (if I do so) with the proper AVR language .
The waveforms has to be reduced before the JFET to avoid distorsion (V in max depends on the voltage control , something like Vin = Vctr/2-1 ). Or the oscillator made with a lower V+ power supply .
Adding more wavefroms (to justify the use of such big circuit) is considered. Even puttin two effects in the same box , both controlled by the AVR chips. Right now I’ve triangle, square, ramp up , ramp down and random (certainly made with the µC ) and looking for others.
No quite sure about the LCD though. Maybe a 7 segments display will be more than enough but it may demand more current. Power consumption isn’t a big issue in this case because the bigness of the circuit will lead (if I finish it ) to a stand alone or rack-mounted device with a transformer in it.
